Essential Lectures
Structured learning on anatomy, nutrition, programme design, business and professional practice.
Blended learning
The AITP Student Hub gives enrolled students flexible access to course theory and resources, while EPTA's 40 studio hours turn that knowledge into practical coaching ability.

What is the Student Hub?
The AITP Student Hub is the online learning portal used by enrolled Edinburgh Personal Training Academy students.
It holds essential lectures, exercise demonstrations, guest masterclasses and downloadable resources that support each stage of the 10-week course. Students can work through theory at their own pace before practising the same concepts with James and Ewa in the studio.
The portal supports the practical course; it does not replace it. Coaching skill is developed through observation, repetition and feedback during 40 hours of in-person learning.
Inside the portal
Structured learning on anatomy, nutrition, programme design, business and professional practice.
Practical demonstrations and coaching guidance for safe, clear exercise delivery.
Additional teaching from experienced specialists working across the fitness industry.
Downloadable reference books, workbooks and resources for deeper independent study.
How blended learning works
Each part of the learning experience has a clear purpose.
Review the theory, demonstrations and supporting material connected to the week's practical focus.
Apply the material through screening, demonstrations, coaching tasks, programme decisions and case studies.
Return to portal resources and the student logbook to reflect, revise and prepare for the next phase.
